A Cho, Or A Luna?
Chapter 6
There are two obvious types of Ravenclaws. One type is the more reserved, polite, studies-all-night kind of person. Another type is the loud, creative, naturally-intelligent kind. You will also find mixes of these types, and they can be a mix of literally any of the Ravenclaw traits. You can find a mix who matches exact traits, like Luna, or one who is kind of an average of all of them, like Cho.
Cho Chang attended Hogwarts at the same time as Luna, only Luna was younger than her. Most witches and wizards today know Cho for being Harry Potter's love interest, and for dating Cedric Diggory. Cho was not necessarily quiet, but she was not loud either. She was the kind of person who really only talked a lot to her friends. She was polite, but not to an extreme. She studied, but not constantly.
Luna and Cho were very different, as you may have already guessed. Luna was reserved, but not in the way that Cho was. Luna didn't run around shouting things, or making fun of people, but she was not shy whatsoever. She never seemed to be studying, but never had awful grades. This tells us that she was probably just naturally intelligent, and so spent most of her spare time creating things, and showing them around.
Cho was never considered strange when she was at Hogwarts, so she was probably a more common type of Ravenclaw at the time. Luna was considered very strange, so there were probably very few, if any, people that were like her at the time.
