Wampus: Equivalent of Gryffindor. A Wampus is a type of Magical Cat native to north America found in Native Folk Stories of the American tribes. It is possible that Jacob Kowalski would have been sorted into Wampus if he had been a wizard. It is a house that represents the body and favours warriors. Notable students: Webster Boot

Pukwudgie: Equivalent of Hufflepuff. A Pukwudgie is a magical creature native to north America that is similar to a goblin. It is a house that represents the heart and favours healers. Notable students include Queenie Goldstein.

Horned Serpent: Equivalent of Ravenclaw. I thought that being a snake it would be Slytherin, but apparently not. A Horned Serpent is a creature that appears North American folklore. It is described as being a dragon-like serpent with horns and long teeth, that controls the weather and has magical powers such as shape-shifting. Represents the mind and favours scholars. Notable students: Serafina Picquery.

Thunderbird: Equivalent of Slytherin. It is related to a phoenix and looks similar to a hippogriff. It is native to Arizona and can sense when danger is coming. Represents the Soul and favours adventurers. Notable students: Porpentina Goldstein and Chadwick Boot.
