Chapter 1
On the 4th of January 1995, journalist Rita Skeeter published an article in the Daily Prophet about Rubeus Hagrid being a half-giant and called it Dumbledore’s Giant Mistake.
To many of us, this was a very strange thing because if you attended Hogwarts during any time between 1980/1995, hadn’t been living under a rock, actually had eyes… I could go on… you would have known that Rubeus Hagrid had been employed as game keeper at Hogwarts (perhaps not why) and much bigger than anyone else, making him… part something else (giant).
We all knew about it. It wasn’t news to us. Perhaps we just had more brains than Rita. As most people will know, if you have read the interviews she had with me, they rarely bore any resemblance to the final article. So, this is how I imagine the interview went with Hagrid.
