Chapter 1
Justine Moritz' name actually strikes in contrast to what happened in the story. The name "Justine" means fair, and in the book, she is executed for something she was framed for-something she didn't do. This is the exact opposite of the meaning "fair", and her death impacts Victor Frankenstein greatly, as he felt like what he did, not speaking up for her, was not fair, and her first name is given in a rather ironic way.
