My father Tom Marvolo Riddle was born on the 31st December 1926 at Wool’s Orphanage, London, England.
I regret that I watched him die. Saw him kill my uncle and saw him do many other things that I wish he hadn’t done.

He was born to Merope Gaunt. He looks like his father Tom Riddle for whom he was named. I also have his nose and (luckily) so do my children. I am pleased that Bertie takes after his grand-father. Somehow it only seems to be in the best way. I think my father would be proud to know that his grandson was, in some way, a good boy hopefully just like him.

My father was a lot older than my mother and I don’t mind that in the slightest. I am actually quite happy about it. The book I have written is called “Tom Marvolo Riddle”. I have also written one that is “to my parents” and “understand”, which are more music based.

My father grew up with the ability to speak to snakes. This parselmouth ability is something that was passed down to him through the Gaunt side of the family which he passed down to me and Delphi and I in turn have passed down, as is seems that Bertie is developing the ability.

Today is, of course the last day of the year, and I would like to tell you what it means to be born on this day.

Firstly, it means that he falls under the star sign of Capricorn, the Goat. What I love about this is that people born in Capricorn are known for having a loving and empathic personalities. As you may already know I don’t really care for this notion however I love to be able to prove it to people that he was a loving father because he was and people never seem to believe me.

The Ruling house is the tenth house and it rules careers, virility and paternity.
His ruling planet was Saturn, which suggests observations and emotions.
His motto: “I utilize” personally I would say that his motto was something more like…

“rid us of the mud” or “power for our kind”.
