This is where we change slightly.

As opposed to visiting the Weasleys we generally go to my family. This usually comprises the Malfoy clan, Lucius, Narcissa and Scorpius, Nana Dromeda (as my kids call her), Teddy Lupin, my half-sister Delphini Riddle and various others.

This year however she will not be joining us as she is now serving a rather lengthy term in Azkaban. Like mother like daughter. I will try and visit her, I am still working on getting her out. Dementors are not making it easy though. Just because they have no effect over me does not mean that I can go completely unscathed. The feeling of ice-cold chills still penetrate my skin. Crackers will be a fun addition for her though.

I understand that some people celebrate Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, some Christmas Day and Boxing Day...

We celebrate the Solstice, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Boxing Day is also known as Offering Day or the day of Goodwill. It is the day after Christmas Day and for some people, a day of shopping. We like to have a second day with family and friends as we always feel that we have several family members, basically 2 Christmases.
