Chapter 5
Mr and Mrs Weasley. Relationship to me…? In-laws. How could I not speak about them? The kindest, most generous people I have ever met. They treated me as a daughter from the age of 9, comfited and more or less adopted not only me but Harry and Hermione as well. If I was sick Mrs Weasley would look after me, if I needed guidance Mr Weasley would show me the way. I owe them both so much and will forever be in their debt.
1995 Grimmauld Place. Louisa Snape sat on the fourth floor of 12 Grimmauld Place. She looked out of the window and into the park opposite. Padfoot’s wet nose nudged her hand as he came in the room.
LOUISA SNAPE: I don’t feel like playing Sirius.
Padfoot whined and curled into a ball on the floor.
LOUISA SNAPE: Don’t look at me like that.
A loud squawking and scuffling could be heard from the room below. Buckbeak the Hippogriff was starting to get anxious.
LOUISA SNAPE: The neighbours are going to start noticing and the Weasleys are not going to be happy.
She scratched the dog’s head.
MOLLY WEASLEY: Hello? Anyone about?
ARTHUR WEASLEY: Weasleys have arrived!!!
FRED & GEORGE: Come on Loo!!! Time for quidditch, we need hoops!
LOUISA SNAPE: Hi guys, up here.
ARTHUR WEASLEY: Splendid. Sirius with you?
FRED & GEORGE: Got brooms up there too?
MOLLY WEASLEY: Honestly you boys!
FRED & GEORGE: Just lightening the mood mum!
RON: Yeah, where’s your sense of adventure?
HERMIONE: Ronald!
GINNY: He’s cheating at everything I reckon.
SEVERUS SNAPE: What IS going on around here?
ARTHUR WEASLEY: Ah Severus. Sorry it took a tad longer than expected. All here now though.
SEVERUS SNAPE: And with Granger I see.
ARTHUR WEASLEY: Yes, bit of luck really. Just waiting on Tonks, Moody and Kingsley to bring Harry and that should be it.
SEVERUS SNAPE: And when will that delightful event take place?
MOLLY WEASLEY: Next week, fingers crossed, Severus. Don’t worry we have everything in hand from the order.
