Chapter 3
Mr Severus Snape. Relationship to me…? Uncle. Intelligent, cunning, loyal, kind, brave, and I will always love him no matter what. He was the best teacher I and Hogwarts could ever have and continued to do the right thing for whomever it was no matter what the risk.
Hogwarts Sorting Ceremony: 1990
SEVERUS SNAPE: Don’t look towards me, and you shall you the name Louisa Snape. Understood?
LOUISA SNAPE: Yes. Why shouldn’t I look towards you?
SEVERUS SNAPE: To eliminate any connection.
LOUISA SNAPE: You want us to be unconnected?
SEVERUS SNAPE: No, I want you to be a Snape not a Riddle. It will put you in a better form. Louisa nods Professors McGonagall and Dumbledore have been informed. Do NOT look towards me and it will stand you in the best stead.
LOUISA SNAPE: Then who do I look at?
SEVERUS SNAPE: Any of your friends.
LOUISA SNAPE: Ok Tonks and the Weasleys are easy to spot with their hair.
SEVERUS SNAPE: Hmm…
LOUISA SNAPE: Uncle?
SEVERUS SNAPE: Yes? With a sigh.
LOUISA SNAPE: As I’m a descendant of Slytherin, does that mean I have to be put in that house?
SEVERUS SNAPE: Not necessarily.
LOUISA SNAPE: But more likely?
SEVERUS SNAPE: Likely but not certain. The choice ultimately falls with the student, and their abilities.
LOUISA SNAPE: Hmm, do you have a thought about where I may be put?
SEVERUS SNAPE: A thought yes, based solely on my knowledge of you. Otherwise, no. Become the per-son you want to be. That is the most important.
