A witch's torture
Chapter 1
You know whichever way you look at it the life I have been living, pretty much all of my life, has been one of the most messed up, screwed up illogical lives that you could wish for and yet, it’s mine. And to me it is perfect. My uncle enjoys messing with the logic that comes into our lives. He used to call it the “circumcised torture” basically comparing his circumcision to the way he gets a thrill out of torturing students (or messing with them in some way).
Bellatrix tortured me by using me as her toy to burn and tease at will and my father…actually he did things differently. I was his toy to protect at will. To see how others would act towards me. It turns out they do pretty well. Grapa and Garit in particular out of the elves have always been respectful but that has more to do with uncle Severus than anyone else. I don’t know how much people believe of what I think. All I know is that there are days, no probably weeks, when I cry myself to sleep.
So many nights pass by and all I seem to have done is scream. Scream for my mum, my dad, my uncle. I have spent years being incapable of understanding why I can’t sleep properly. Why my home is not a proper home and why I feel lost. I don’t think I’ll ever have the answers. My nightmares are simply, “daddy please don’t go, don’t kill him and don’t leave me.” Then of course “mummy I miss you” and finally “uncle it hurts without you” Yeah, I know… it sounds stupid. For some reason people don’t think Voldemort or Tom Riddle are people that should be missed.
I do. Daughters love their fathers no matter what. Believe me or don’t, I don’t care. I wish I could have another dance with mine. I want another hug. I know Delphi does too. Over the years I think I’ve heard every convoluted story known to man. I’ve heard about turning to addictions, replacing one thing for another. Etcetera etc… I have known people use pain. I’ve done it I won’t deny it. My father used to punish himself, and others. My uncle, created feats that were meant to be annoying. Whichever way you do it I think you can admit we all have some sort of torture.
