To Save a Life

To Save a Life is a story about Evelyn and her friend, who is in danger of dying, but Evelyn is determined to help her best friend. So she goes on to the adventure, where there is a certain plant that will help her friend. So Evelyn boldly go's into the Forbidden Forest - she won't give up till she has found the plant.

The Plan
Chapter 3
She came to the Hospital wing quickly. By now half of the school already knew how sick Lisa was, and what danger she was in.
She didn't bother to knock - just marched in, and, ignoring Madam Pomfrey, she ran to Lisa.
Lisa looked up at her, and managed to smile. Evelyn smiled back at her, but it was a small one. Then Evelyn said to Madam Pomfrey in a whisper, "Does Lisa know that she's in danger of... dying?" she choked the last word.
Madam Pomfrey's eyes were wide. "Who told you?"
"McGonagall."
"Yes - of c-course," said Madam Pomfrey, and to Evelyn's surprise, she saw a tear slide down Madam Pomfrey's cheek.
"So... there's no way you can heal her?"
"There is, one way," said Madam Pomfrey slowly. "But... no, it is way too dangerous."
"I can do it!" Evelyn said confidently.
"No! You're a child! And besides, you'd be breaking the rules-"
"For a good reason," said Evelyn. "Please!"
"No, no one would let you - even a adult would not be keen to do it - it is such a dangerous place."
"What is the dangerous place?"
Pomfrey looked down at Evelyn, and then said slowly, "The other side of the Forbidden Forest."
The other side of the Forbidden Forest? No one ever, (probably), had been to the OTHER side of the Forbidden Forest! thought Evelyn. But I will go there! "Madam Pomfrey, why would you need to go to the other side of the Forbidden Forest?" asked Evelyn.
"Because there is a plant there," said Pomfrey, "That would help your friend survive."
"Then I will go to the other side of the Forest! I will! But how did you know all this?" asked Evelyn.
"I read about... the plant - where it is commonly found, and it was commonly found, on the other side of the Forbidden Forest!"
"I will do this - I will help Lisa, whatever happens."
