To Save a Life is a story about Evelyn and her friend, who is in danger of dying, but Evelyn is determined to help her best friend. So she goes on to the adventure, where there is a certain plant that will help her friend. So Evelyn boldly go's into the Forbidden Forest - she won't give up till she has found the plant.

Chapter 2
Evelyn reached the Headmistress's office door, and she knocked on it, panting.
"Come in," said a curt voice.
Evelyn pushed open the door and walked slowly in, and looked at McGonagall. The Headmistress looked back at Evelyn, her eyebrows raised. "Yes, Willow?"
"I want to ask you a question," said Evelyn slowly.
"Yes?"
"What's wrong with Lisa?"
Silence. McGonagall did not say anything, but stared at Evelyn.
"Please tell me. I want to know," said Evelyn quietly.
"Yes, I suppose you should know," said McGonagall. "Lisa... is in grave danger of..."
"Of what? Tell me!"
There was silence for a few seconds, then, "Miss Lisa is in danger of dying."
Evelyn tore across the room, tears stinging her eyes, but she wouldn't let McGonagall see them. She ran down the corridor, passed three Ravenclaw girls who were chatting happily, (How could they be? and Evelyn ran straight past them, and ran into the Ravenclaw common room. She flung herself onto the couch. She cried for a while, but then straightened up and thought, "No, I have to help her! I have to!" she stood up, and walked back out of the common room, and wiped her eyes. Some came back, but she wiped them away again. She was going to go to the Hospital Wing, and talk to Lisa.
