Chapter 1
Today is the 16th and it is known to be the anniversary of the day that my mother died. To be precise it is the 40th anniversary since my mother’s death she was a Gryffindor, married to a Slytherin who gave birth to a Gryffindor. Her father, Tobias Snape was Jewish, a muggle and was known for being a mean person with a bad temper. Eileen Prince was a witch, part elvish. Along with my uncle I have celebrated my mother’s death every year. It doesn’t have to be important. She was really very good at playing gobstones. I was always introduced as my uncle Severus’s daughter when we went to synagogue for Passover or for any other important Jewish events. My Uncle performed a memory charm on his father but it didn’t work on his mother. Grapa Prince was known for being an elvish prince and Garit Prince is Severus’s cousin. It is complicated. But I understand.
I was found by my uncle Severus underneath my mother with my teddy bear. It is funny the things you remember. The rug was a bright green colour. A kind of shag pile effect, which means it was fluffy. My uncle had an immense look of shock on his face. I remember that. I remember telling him how mummy wouldn't wake up. I remember that her eyes were somehow the same colour as the rug and I couldn't work that out either. I remember him telling me to put clothes on. It was the little things like holding my hand and running his fingers through my hair. By the time I came down again, dressed and with my teddy, she had gone. Disappeared from the room. He swooped me up in his arms, yes swooped me up and that was it. We went to Knockturn Alley.
