The Revealing Charm

Incantation: Aparecium (AH - par - EE - see - um)
Wand Movement: Tap the object
Willpower: Low - can use more willpower to “charge” the spell and make it last longer
Concentration: Low - focus on the effect.

The Revealing Charm makes hidden messages reveal themselves, (if written in invisible ink) or any other hidden markings. It also works against Concealing Charms. It was used by Hermione Granger in 1993 to attempt to reveal any hidden writing in 'Riddles' diary.




The Tracking Charm

Incantation: Appare Vestigium (ah-PAR-ay ves-TEE-jee-um)
Wand Movement: A full circle then a swish
Willpower High
Concentration: High; concentration should be maintained

This spell is used for tracking footprints and track marks in a area. Newt Scamander used this spell to track where Tina Goldstein was in of the streets of Montmarte, Paris.
