The Confundus Charm

Incantation: Confundo (con - FUN - doe)
Wand Movement: Backwards question mark (You start with your wand on the right and move it in an upward curve to the left, bringing it down and around before moving the wand straight down.)
Moderate to high. Must exert enough willpower to overcome the will of the target.
Concentration: Moderate, on the effect of the spell

This spell confuses the person on whom it's placed, typically to distract them from something. The Confunus Charm was invented by Professor Filius Flitwick.

The Imperius Curse

Incantation: Imperio (im - PERE - eo)
Wand Movement: Point wand at victim
Willpower High
Concentration High; depends on how much you want to confuse him.

Instead of the Confundus Curse, you confuse him and then you can control the target. The Confundus Charm only confuses them, and then you can't do anything else with them.
