Chapter 6

The Eurasian Steppe Belt

This is the biggest steppe, ranging from Moldova to Manchuria. It links Europe, all of Asia, & the Middle East. It also has linked them all economically, culturally, politically, & magically. There are three belts which are split into steppes. The Western Steppe was close to the Danube River & extends to North Kazan & South Ural Mountains. It was an island steppe & isolated wizards lived here. The Central Steppe was close to Southern Ural Mountains & extends to Europe & Asia. It was also called the Kazakh Steppe. The Eastern Steppe was the most crucial steppe.

China

The ceremonial tasks that magical people had to do were controlling the Yellow River & preforming political tasks. Chinese magic was based on rituals, medicine, & caution. Due to the restrictions, their magic was poor. The Chinese government made anti-magic laws & limited magic for all of China. The imperial servants then worked for the government. Being a magical person was illegal & were meant only for the emperors. This happened within a hundred years.
