History is significant because us humans conduct it. History is our past events, but by living in the present, we are essentially making history. Without history, we would cease to exist. If us witches & wizards never studied history, we would never know how magic or the laws of magic came to be. If no one ever studied history, we wouldn't know how wars started & how we could avoid one in the future.
