All About Hufflepuff
Chapter 2
Hufflepuff is the most inclusive among the four houses; valuing hard work, dedication, patience, loyalty, and fair play rather than a particular aptitude in its students. Hufflepuffs are known to have a strong moral code, and a sense of right and wrong. Hufflepuffs are usually accepting of everyone.
The house mascot is the badger, and canary yellow and black (or golden yellow and graphite in the Fantastic Beasts films) are its colours.
Hufflepuff has a bad reputation because Helga Hufflepuff took everyone into her house. Hufflepuff has a bad reputation because Helga Hufflepuff took everyone into her house. She didn't really single out people. Therefore, people think that they're not special because they got sorted into a "normal" house.
But, it never makes the members of Hufflepuff bad or non talented, every one of them are unique in their own way which makes parts of Hufflepuff different, it doesn't have to exactly show.
