Final exams and midterms are always especially daunting and nearly always essential and featured in a course. To help succeed in these challenges, here are a few tips I've picked up:
-It's not like muggle exams - you don't need to worry so much about exam technique, just about what you're writing.-Review the lessons or use a study guide before attempting the exam (most of you probably will have, this is not for patronisation)-Use tips from the past few answers to answer various types of questions-If it's timed, relax. There's usually plenty of time to complete the exam.-If you can't remember the answer to a one percent question, don't worry. Take a wild guess and if you get it right, good for you. One short question answered wrongly will not do much to affect your overall grade.-Answer short answer questions with care and use the tips from the previous chapter. These questions often do form the bulk of the exam percentage.-Try and sound as if you know the entire syllabus, whether you do or you don't.-Check your answers when finished so as to make sure you didn't miss anything out or answer something wrongly when you could have got it right.
