Sewing Silence
Incantation: Volabat Silentium
Pronunciation: (vol-a-BAT si-LEN-ti-um)
Wand Movement: A horizontal zig-zag followed my an oval shape directed at the lips of your target
Effect: Sew shut the lips of the person who it has been cast upon. It has been used by dark witches and wizards in order to prevent their opponent from being able to verbalize spells and counter-spells. This renders the victim unable to protect themselves and leaves them vulnerable to further attack.
What it Looks Like: There is no light or sparks, just the thread and bloodNote: This spell is classified as a curse as in extreme cases it has resulted in death when the victim was unable to feed themselves. It can be reversed, but only by another witch or wizard as the counter-spell requires a wand movement that a victim would not be able to perform on themselves.
