I screamed. Dar came racing down the stairs. "Kale what's wr-." Dar stopped mid-Sentence. "M-mom?" I stuttered. My mother got up. "I have been watching you for the past few weeks Kale, and what I have seen." My mother stopped to shake her head. "Hanging out with Nicklaus, trusting him! I mean he was the one who almost killed me! And here you are being the little-no-it-all girl you always have been even before you turned into a vampire."  My mother spat. My eyes drained of their color. "Me? Me?! You're the one who didn't show up after Nicklaus ALMOST killed you, you're the one who left me alone in the dark, you're the one who didn't show up half of my life! You're the one who gave me away! And for what?! Because Nicklaus told you to because of Da?" I yelled. Dar stepped in the argument. "Guys!" Dar yelled, " is this really your life? Fighting all the time about dumb little things? Kale has a good reason for being mad, but you?" My mind just went from anger to absolute terror. "Dar watch out!" I yelled and went in front of Dar holding my hands out, like I was doing a spell. "K-Kale..." Dar stuttered. I opened my eyes and saw, I WAS doing a spell. I gasped. "My witch powers came back." I whispered to myself and threw my mother across the room and hugged Dar as tight as I could. "Don't ever do that to a mother of vampires." I commented. I looked up at him, he was content to be in my arms. Just then, Nicklaus, Rebekah, Elijah, and Kole came busting through the door. "Sister! Are you alright? We heard fighting." Klaus spat. I pointed to the corner. "That's why." I answered. Everyone looked at the corner and saw our mother. "Well this is one heck of a family reunion." Kole commented and Rebekah hit his shoulder. "You ok Dar?" I asked. Dar nodded, so just for good measure, we kissed.
