60% - Captain America is Slytherin
40% - Captain America is Gryffindor.
Based on the votes, Captain America - Steve Rogers is more Slytherin than Gryffindor. Now, for the article, here are some details you might’ve missed throughout the Harry Potter movies and books, and this is part 1. Part 2 will be my next article, continuing this one. Enjoy!

In the end of the movie, Draco’s father really loses it when Harry tricks him into giving Dobby a sock, freeing the house elf from the Malfoy's service. He gets so mad that he whips out his wand and threatens Harry with it, actually going so far as to begin to say a curse before he is interrupted by Dobby. So you may have wondered what he was going to say over the years. If you listen closely, you can actually hear the evil Malfoy saying, “Avada,” about to send young Harry to his parents, before Dobby interrupts him. (Avada Kedavra is the killing curse).

Book 3

When Harry is first given the Marauders map, a shot shows the front cover of the map with the nicknames of all the creators. You might catch the fact that the name “Moony” is misspelled “Mooney.” This is actually done on purpose. The filmmakers had some fun slipping in the movie’s visual effects supervisor’s last name, Mooney (Karl Mooney).

When Harry first enters The Leaky Cauldron, you can see a wizard stirring his tea using magic, while reading a book. This wizard is actually reading a muggle book. It's Stephen Hawking’s classic A Brief History of Time, which explains the connections between time and the universe. The name of the book foreshadows how Hermione and Harry go back in time later in the movie.
