Interview with HiH Students (Interview)
Chapter 1
I recently interviewed 2 older students about what life at Hogwarts is like. A big thanks to Emma Estrella and Elena Martinez for taking part in this! Note: I’m just going to put their first names when you see the answers.
Questions:
1. When did you join HiH?
Elena: I joined HiH in 2015.
Emma: I joined HiH in April 2020.
2. What year are you in?
Elena: I am a 5th year.
Emma: I am marked as a Year 2 but I am doing Year 6 work.
3. How many House Points do you have?
Elena: I have 1917 House Points.
Emma: At this moment I have 4,584 points. About 275 from this month.
4. What is your favourite subject?
Elena: My favorite subjects are Muggle Studies and Transfiguration.
Emma: I love Care of Magical Creatures.
5. Are you a PA or Head Student?
Elena: No, I am just a student.
Emma: I applied to be a PA for COMC and I will find out soon if I have been accepted.
6. How many assignments do you complete weekly?
Elena: I complete 5 assignments weekly sometimes daily.
Emma: During the summer I completed about 20 assignments a week, but this school year has been so busy that I can only complete about 5 assignments a week. Luckily I’m not in that much of a hurry.
7. What is your favourite thing to do on HiH?
Elena: My favorite thing to do on HiH are the assignments and reading in the library.
Emma: Other than classes, I really like to read the short stories found in the HiH library. I’ve even written a few myself.
8. Who is your favourite professor?
Elena: My favorite professor is Professor Morgan.
Emma: Professor Anne has to be my favorite teacher since she teaches my favorite subject and she’s the head of my house.
9. What is your favourite thing in your favourite subject? eg Mandrakes in Herbology
Elena: My favorite thing in Muggle Studies is learning about the different film genres that Muggles enjoy watching.
Emma: In my favorite class my favorite creature is the Hippocampus.
10. Any advice for other students?
Elena: My advice for other students is to have fun and try your best in all assignments and classes.
Emma: To the students who are not getting very far in their courses and they want to go faster, I recommend just starting an assignment. I find that finishing is so much easier once I start.
