So, this is going to be the final tips. I recommend to work around you muggle school life if you have one. I saddly have to because Hogwarts is way to far to travel. So if you are like me you might want to again work around your schedule or the teachers might think you are doing "top secret" stuff. So, spam the teachers with homework on the weekends and summer when Hogwarts Summer Classes are going on. My last tip is have fun. I mean why would you do something if its not fun. Also we are at Hogwarts The School for Wizards and Witches, I think you guys will have fun. I am a first year and I might not know my way around Hogwarts or the skills but I know tips that will make everyone succeed.
