Chapter 1
People ask you why you can’t find peace. It’s because you can’t replace what was taken from you. The other night I was reminded of that. I don’t know if this “event” was caused by wounds, battles or grief but it doesn’t matter. I saw him in my dream last night. A strange dream, where I held him, watched him grow, and smile. For some reason his name was Thomas. I don’t know why. But he was happy, he was good. This is for you.
Sleep and I’ll sing to you, of butterflies and fairies,
Smile and be looked after by those that would have loved you.
Laugh and play like they ought to do, but you.
Sleep on my little one with the wind and trees.
Sleep and Dream and I’ll be with you one day too.
