You should have a good idea of the fundamentals of potioneering & how it effects the body in various different ways. In Year Two, you will have a couple of labs, just like you did this year. You will also learn about the nervous system & how it relates to potions. Ingredients will be explored further as well as their various attributes. Should you want to pursue a career in potioneering, take Care of Magical Creatures as well. As you progress through the years in Potions class, it will get more difficult & the Professor will expect more from you. Every Potions class builds on top of another, so make sure you have notes to refer to for future use.
