My Dearest Daughter.
Looking at you now it hardly seems possible that I am going to have to leave you. I have given you as much protection as I can, You, may not understand this, and by the time you read this you may even hate me for it but I feel that the best thing to do is sacrifice myself. I will not be dead but I will leave you with no mother.
Please know that I have never taken a greater risk, sacrificed more or been more scared than I am now. I wish I could see you grow into the brave, strong, beautiful woman I know you will be. I entrust you to your Uncle Severus. To Narcissa and Lucius Malfoy and to the Elves.
You will know when to find me because the wind will change, follow your heart and I will be there. Step out of the shadows and listen. I am hidden within as you shall be.
