Other Wizarding schools include Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and Durmstrang Institute. 

    Durmstrang Institute was founded by Nerida Vulchanova. Durmstrang has a horrible reputation because of the emphasis it puts on Dark Arts. Durmstrang Institute doesn't learn the Defense stuff, it actually learns Dark Arts! It is located in either Sweden or Norway and the castle only has four floors. The fires are lit only for special occasions and receives very little daylight in winters. It is also a very old school since it was first founded in 1294. The headmaster at the current time is Igor Karkaroff. Durmstrang's transport is also a great giant ship.

    Beauxbatons Academy is located in the Pyrenees in South France. The headmistress now is Olympe Maxime. The transport is not a train like Hogwarts or a giant ship like Durmstrang but several carriages pulled by pale winged horses similar to a unicorn just without the horn and magical blood.
