I felt my heart leap, then I felt panic. neither of there feelings were mine. They were my soulmates. I wondered what was happening. I wondered if it was worth skipping class just to sit, locked in a bathroom stall, and try to figure out how to help purple. I was wondering why Purple had stopped writing, when I felt A sharp pain in my groin region.
"OW! FUCK!" was my immediate reaction to the pain, however once the immediate shock was gone, the pain hadn't subsided, and I was left trying to stop a stream of tears from my eyes. So then I wondered why one on my soulmates were just kicked in the groin. I um capped my dark blue pen and wrote on my arm,
"Is everything ok? Why was one of you kicked?" next to it a sentence formed in light blue ink,
"yea what happened? that hurt." It was about ten minutes before red ink appeared on my arm.
"OMG! basically, I turned out to be purples roommate's brother! so when I read that purples roommate was having his brother over, and purple came down and got water right after dark blue told him to! so then I burst into purples room and he panicked and kicked me." this new information was certainly a development, because soulmates can't write personal information to the each other, but we can give information about others. before I could respond to this update however, light blue ink started appearing on my arm.
''OMG that is so amazing!! you and Purple have finally met! what are they like?"
"If I were to use one word to describe purple it would be: Emo," was then written in red ink.
"thank you for that, but "emo" is not going to help us locate you two. why don't you give us a basic physical description?"
"Ok, so he is pretty short, has dark brown eyes, messy black hair, sort of oval face. he wears black eyeshadow, and a purple and black patchwork hoodie." an image was rendering in my mind. an image that seemed familiar. but there was only one way to make sure. Tentatively, I wrote back,
"name?" 3 seconds that felt like an eternity went by before,
"Virgil O' Shay." Panic. that description perfectly matched that of the cute server I saw at Mc Donald's earlier today.
"umm, did one of you feel panicked for a reason?" light blue.
"interesting question. umm... Virgil did you by any chance work at a McDonalds in Boston this morning at about 3:40 am?" I wrote.
"yes... why?"
"did you happen to see a tall teenager wearing a black shirt, and a blue tie come in and order a milkshake and French fries. then did this boy study flash cards. and did you complement the buttons on his bag?"
"umm... yes? wtf were you that guy?"
"it certainly apereas so."
"well then cool. I'll have the same shift tomorrow. ill bring Roman."
"roman?"
"ahh right. yea that is red's name. Roman Prince."
"well it will certainly be nice to meet the two of you."
