2004 – Now
What can I say life with a Dragonologist is …unusual. The words “honey I’ve got something to tell you” are usually followed by me rolling over, going back to sleep and saying “how long till it hatches?” or “please tell me it’s not another Chinese Fireball” (devils as babies). My side, I get given the jobs that either concern a lot of transfiguration or animals and when I bring them home its followed by “don’t worry I know someone.” Sevie when she started at Hogwarts this year asked for a pet as so many people have them but there was a resounding “NO” that came from both of us. We have enough animals around the place to last us and she can do exactly what I did. Lessons were learnt with Pettigrew and we move far too often.
As a family we have rescued, studied, rehabilitated, killed (for necessary means) hundreds of animals. We have had dragons, snakes, fish, billywigs, bowtruckles, phoenixes, nifflers, thestrals and birds of all shapes and sizes. Oh and I mustn't forget to mention all those that come to me as either maladictus or just simply because they "got stuck" in their animagus form. (It happens more than you think).
