Wayne sat in the common room thinking over what Hazel had said about her sister. He didn't think that he could ever be close to his siblings, if he had ever had any. it was almost as if they were the same person that had split itself in two, Separating the qualities they had but also giving them some sort of mental communication. 

He wondered if he would really be able to handle someone who would possibly give details to someone outside of their relationship. he felt such conviction though, that she would not, and that she respect him as he respected her. they were similar in many ways but he could talk constantly while she would listen intently and gave comments only when it was needed.

he felt that many of his fellow house mates wanted to talk to him but sensed he was distracted and could use a bit of time before he would be back to his normal self. 

Iris carefully entered the common room which was crowded as usual except for a corner which was only holding one person. that person being wayne who glanced up when she entered. 

Their eyes met and Iris quickly looked away and headed toward the girls dorms. Wayne stood and hurried to grab her arm. she looked back surprise on her face. he glanced around and noticed all the faces turned their way. he flushed with embarrassment at their glances as this was a relatively private matter. 

"can  I speak to you in private" he asked hesitantly. Iris felt a desire to be cruel but pushed it down. After all she did not truly know if her assumptions were correct though it felt as if it was. "sure... lets go for a walk" she said and headed back out the door with wayne following her. 

the other students watched them leave and a few seemed to find it hilarious. there were rumors upon rumors about the two hufflepuff students, only one was verified though.
