Hook Me (Harry Hook Fanfiction)
Cecilia "Cece" De Vil, half-sister to Carlos, is also his opposite. Ruthless, mean, and cold hearted, all she wants is revenge on him for getting her kicked out of the house years ago. She's built a reputation for being an amazing fighter and street terror, but she isn't the VK leader: Uma is. And Cece's a loner. So when Harry Hook calls in a favor and forces her to join Uma's crew, she's mad. But soon Uma promises her revenge, so she stays. And along the way to finding herself and getting what she wants, she finds something a little more… unexpected. Love. Meet Cece: https://hogwartsishere.com/1193340/ (Author's Note: For my purposes, in this fanfic, Harry is straight. I know there are different views on what his sexuality really is, but for this, he is straight.)

CHAPTER SIX: BREATHING ROOM
Chapter 7
Harry was doing his eyeliner when I walked in.
"Okay, stop with the makeup, babe," I said, smacking it out of his hands. It drew a black line down his cheek. I laughed,
"Now that is the look." Harry grumbled,
"Really, Cece?"
"Oh, stop whining," I cooed, sitting on the counter and grabbing a washcloth. I cupped his face with my hand and scrubbed the eyeliner off. Setting the washcloth down, I put my hands on his cheeks and touched my nose to his,
"Better?" He smiled and brushed his lips against mine,
"Seriously, Cece, you're like a different person when we're alone." I grinned, kissing him again,
"You're the only one I'll be nice for." Harry snorted,
"You call that nice?" I shrugged,
"We all have different opinions." He just shook his head with a smile and kissed me again.
"So," I said, pulling away, "are we going looting or not?" Harry lifted me off the counter,
"Duh." I rolled my eyes,
"You call that mean?" Harry shook his head,
"Let's just go."
.....
Gil opted out of joining us, but that was fine by me. Harry and I walked down to the market, eyeing potential victims with trained eyes.
"Why don't we hit Curl Up and Dye?" Harry asked. I shrugged,
"If you want." We walked to the salon. The closed sign was attached to the door, but we barged in anyway. Dizzy whirled around in surprise,
"Oh no!" Her broom flew out of her hands right at Harry. I reached up and caught it, stepping out from behind Harry.
"Hello, Dizzy." She gasped,
"Cece De Vil?"
"Hello," I said in a bored tone. "Remember when you did my hair?" I could see Harry creep over to the cash register.
"Yeah," Dizzy said, getting excited, "it was so pretty!"
"It was atrocious," I said with a glare. She shrank back. Harry gave me the thumbs up that meant he was done.
"I have to be going," I drawled. "Thanks for the tip." She squinted in confusion, to which Harry showcased the money in his hands.
"Hey!" she said. I put my finger to her lips,
"You're prettier with your mouth shut." She sulked away and shot me an angry glare. I laughed and walked to Harry, wrapping an arm around his waist.
"Let's go." He smiled and planted a sappy kiss on my lips. Dizzy made fake retching sounds behind us.
"Ta-ta!" I called.
.....
Back at the ship, Harry sorted through the money while I sharpened my favorite dagger.
"It's nice to have some breathing room, isn't it?" Harry said, looking up.
"You can say that again," I laughed. "I mean, now that I've gotten revenge on Carlos, it's nice to be able to relax."
"Wanna go release some tension in the training room?" Harry asked.
"But you always beat me," I whined. Harry pointed at me,
"Practice makes perfect." I rolled my eyes,
"Okay, okay. I'm coming." Harry grabbed our swords and we walked to the training room.
Harry immediately caught me off guard with a backwards slash. There was something about the training room that made him unbeatable.
We fought for a while, swords clashing until Harry disarmed me. Instead of finishing me off like he would an enemy, he pulled me in and kissed me long and hard. I giggled, trying to pull away, but he held me fast. Finally we broke apart, still winded from our sparring.
"This is definitely not my sport, but it's fun none the less," I laughed. Harry pumped his first into the air.
"I have converted you!" I chuckled,
"Or maybe your ruggedly handsome looks have convinced me to like what you like." He nodded his head,
"It's definitely that." I laughed and stood on my tiptoes to kiss him. His arms encircled my waist.
"You can be such a softie, Cece." I rolled my eyes,
"Only when I'm around you, and it's one of my worst features." Harry buried a hand in my hair,
"Well, I like you either way." I placed my head on his chest and just breathed.
"So do you want to watch Cotillion?" Harry asked.
"Duh," I said. "Though we'll be watching Uma fail." Harry raised an eyebrow,
"Why are you so certain?" I chuckled.
"You've read the stupid fairytales. The so-called good guys always win. And that's not us." Harry shrugged,
"Well, I think that no matter what, it should be interesting. Are all of your scores settled with Carlos?" I laughed,
"Well, if he gets called a hero again, I might go mad. But I won't be carving anything into his arms anymore." Harry chuckled,
"Well, you know he'll probably get called a hero again, but in the meantime, you and I can watch Cotillion as Uma's plan apparently fails."
We walked out of the training room to the railing. I breathed in the salty air.
"Thanks for saving my life, Harry."
"Of course," he said. "And now, I'm sure, you know the real reason I did?" I smiled,
"Because you liked me?" He grinned,
"As much as you can like someone when you live on the Isle." I smiled and wrapped my arms around his waist.
"Well, I'm glad you did." Harry wrapped his arms around me in return.
"I love you, Cece De Vil." And I didn't hesitate to respond back,
"I love you, too, Harry Hook."
