Lilly was just a normal girl living a normal life. That is, if you lived in District 12. This certain District was but a minor part of the country Panem, known for it's purpose of citizens risking their lives everyday to mine coal, and it wasn't exactly the most known.

 Now, Lilly was just a scrawny girl, slightly short for her age at 4 feet 6 inches. Her dirty blonde hair was usually adequately groomed, but in cases where there wasn't the option to bathe, her hair would remain stringy and filthy. She lived with her father, because her mother had left him when Lilly was 3, and she never forgave her since.

 The duo lived in a small house with one living room, which was also where they would sleep and bathe when they had the chance. There were no other rooms in this home. But Lilly and her father were happy with their simple lives, having each other to make it through each day.

 But soon their lives would change forever.
