As you all come from different places around the world the easiest one to teach you is YES.

N.B. It is not the only YES word we have. You say yes as a direct answer to a positive or negative question or you can say yes in that you agree with someone… etc… there are many.

This comes under the first rule.

It is pronounced “t-ch-ya” for English speakers.

It is quite sharp, many of my friends that have no idea what I am saying when I speak think that it is a cruel and harsh language but I find it romantic and descriptive.

It is parseltongue I speak but find harsh and when now I am learning French with Fleur i find that even worse.
