Chapter 1
I speak was brought up to speak three languages. Each one different from the other and not one of them did I have to really “learn”. The first was Elvish. It is a language that you have to know from birth. I always describe it as very descriptive. It sounds something between Slovak and Swedish. The ideas of it are similar to the people of old Norse. You could say that it truly is my mother tongue. I spoke it with my mother and uncle and all Elvish people.
The second language I speak is English it is the only language that both my parents knew. Despite being born in the Midlands, which has quite a rounded accent, and living most of my time in Scotland, which has a very sharp and distinct accent, the accent I have is that of a southerner.
The third language is parseltongue. Again, it is a language that is more of an ability and we found out later on in life.
I have wondered for a while how to give you a dictionary but I think I have found a way.
