He was born in the 9th January in 1960. Before school Severus Snape lived with his parents in a small house in Spinner’s End. His family was quite poor so he often wore ill-fitting clothes that were very mismatched. His parents often fought with one another leaving him quite neglected. He was always very eager to leave his home. His mother was a witch and his father was a muggle, their names were Eileen Prince and Tobias Snape. He lived near the Evan’s family and soon began spying on Lily Evan’s when he realised that she was a witch. The two then became friends and he told her all about the wizarding world.
