I sat in the window seat in my room overlooking the lawn, writing some maths equation for school and having some nice hot chocolate. I looked over and saw something surprising and horifying out side. I put my math down and squinted to try and see it better while I sipped on hot chocolate. I tried to rap my mind around what it was while keeping my eyes pinned on the creature. I gasped. It was the monster from under my bed when I was a kid. What, I thought. She. She wasn't real. I assured myself in my head, but now I was not as sure anymore. I looked out again and it was gone. I shook my head and laughed to myself. Ah Kara being the silly girl she is, fretting over silly things that are not real. I went back to doing my maths problems. A couple minuites later I heard a tapping on my window. I turned around I see what it was. When I saw it I screamed and scrambled towards to the base of my bed. It was it. The monster from my childhood.

In the broad daylight I could see all of her horrid fetures. It had huge demon wings and a creepy smile that creeps up the sides of her face. Her hair was as dark as night and her eyes were deep red and sunken in. The window slammed open. I screamed amd scramled on to my bed. She was going towards me. I had backed up to a wall. It was momments before she could rake her claws across my face when I heard a voice yelling
"Kara! Kara! Wake up! Kara!" The voice sounded worried. My eyes flashed opens and my eyes were flodded with bright lights.
"What?" I said. I was shaken. My parents were standing around me. I looked around my room, there was no sign of the monster attack. My mug and math was sitting on top of my desk and not thrown across my floor. My mom explined to me that they head me having a fit and when they came I was screaming in my sleep. So it was all a dream? I thought. But then out of the corner of my eye I saw a flash of her creepy smile coming out of the the shadow behind my mom. I blinked then I was gone. All a dream I reminded myself. All a dream.
