My Plan
Chapter 2
A few weeks passed, and the day came when my brother and sisters would be going to Hogwarts. They were all older than me. Frederick was the oldest - he was fifteen. Then Susie, who was fourteen, and then my other sister, Ella, who was twelve, and then James, who was twelve as well, but ten months younger than Ella. And then Edith, who was eleven - she was going to go to Hogwarts for the first time.
And I was ten - I was going to turn eleven soon. There was eight people in the whole family. My mum and dad weren't the best parents - I know, you'll be thinking that that is a really harsh thing to say...but it's true. My mum is kind to me, but gets angry easily with me. Maybe she's angry that I'm a Squib, but it's not my fault. She was the one who I was born from.
The day they went to Hogwarts was nice and sunny. We caught a taxi and went to the Kings Cross. There were lots of Muggles about, and I counted myself as one of them. I was angry and sad at the same time.
"Hey - Willow!" a voice shouted from behind me.
I turned to see Timothy, the boy I had seen last night.
"What do you want?" I said stiffly.
"Just wanted to say bye, I guess," said Timothy. He smiled quickly, and said, "If you want, I can send you letters, and what's happening at Hogwarts while I'm there. Do'ya want me to?"
I was about to say, "No thanks," but then sending letters about Hogwarts would be cool, right? Would it make me feel better, or worse? Finally I said, "Okay, yes please."
Timothy smiled again, and said, "Good, and well...bye!"
I raised my hand in reply, and for the first time smiled.
Timothy jumped onto the train and laughed.
I could imagine his excitement - he was actually going to go to Hogwarts...and I was not ever going to.
One early morning, there came a rap at my window that woke me up. I rubbed my eyes and looked at my window. To my astonishment, there was a owl outside!
I quickly opened the window and let the owl in. A letter was attached to it's leg - the letter must be from Timothy? Who else would write to me?
I took the letter off the owl's leg with difficulty and then quickly read it. This is what it said:
Dear Willow, my first night at Hogwarts was wonderful! The Great Hall looked so cool! There were candles floating in the air, and there were four tables - one for Gryffindor, one for Slytherin, one for Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw.
And before the Sorting began, I was so excited and nervous. And guess what house I was sorted into? Hufflepuff! The Sorting Hat was saying I'd do good in Ravenclaw, but it decided that I should be in Hufflepuff instead!
I do like Hufflepuff - they are supposed to be kind, hardworking, and loyal, but I wouldn't mind being in Ravenclaw.
I wanted to be in Gryffindor the most though - you do know that House was what famous Harry Potter was in!
Anyway, how are you? I suppose nothing's really exciting is happening at your house... I wish you could come to Hogwarts too!
Love from Timothy
I smiled and folded the letter and put it in my draw. So, he was in Hufflepuff... nice.

One day, when I was sitting in the dining room, thinking about Hogwarts, I made a up a plan. I... was... going... to.... go to Hogwarts! Secretly... sneakily.
And I decided tomorrow would be a great day to do it.
