August 8: Case 68-J-10 - Under Age Wizarding
Chapter 2
August 8, 9:49pm - Ministry of Magic, Level 1, Office of the Minister of Magic [OMM]
I have been drinking with the Minister of Magic this night and although I hate to say it, I think I (and the minister too) have a serious drinking problem. It is weird to believe that people can do without their regular firewhiskey, however, it is always nice to see that the Minister and I are on the same level. We talked about the regulation of the Trace, the way it is handled and how the Office of Improper Use of Magic could regulate the minors. The minister thinks the age of seventeen is too low, and although I agree with him, there is no reason to change it soon; Hogwarts is in constant flux with her students and unless it is releasing its students earlier than seventeen, there was no reason to alter the rules. It reminded me of my days in the office, doing the administrative work I love.
