August 4: Case 48-C-20 - Healthcare
Chapter 1
August 4, 1:49pm - Ministry of Magic, Level 2, Chief Warlock's Office [CWO]
This morning has been tough. The current case we were working on had been a serious one for all of us. St. Mungo's has been under fire from several claims stating the healthcare was below par and that it, by Wizengamot decree, should start doing random audits of their healers to make sure all the healers were on their best behaviour - always. The prosecutor, a witch with a giant nose and ditto ears, had been a laugh within chambers, however, hadn't been a distraction from verdict. Being supported by the government, the hospital had to meet certain standards and thus, we decided to agree with those random audits for the next two weeks. We will see what their conclusions will bring.

August 4, 5:35pm - Hogwarts, First Floor, Office of Professor Maddox [OPM]
After the tea I had with the Minister, I went back to Hogwarts. Although I have been apparating since seventeen, I still find the feeling of being forced through a tube discomforting. Obviously got used to that, though. The walk from Hogsmead to Hogwarts is taking less time now I had to walk it several times, however, I should talk to the Headmaster in lifting the Anti-Apparition Charm for me, since I need to move back and forth between the Ministry and Hogwarts all the time. I went to find Autumn, who was crawled up in one of the corners of her office. I offered her my coat, told her she was as cold as any stone, and carried her into her room. I smiled to her, but I don't think she noticed. The poor soul, how long she has been lying there may only the paintings know. I conjured here some hot water and left it next to her. I wanted to stay with her and make her feel better, but I had an important meeting with the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Remind me to check on her later tonight.
