Chapter 4
HISTORY OF MAGIC 101

Ok, I will start by saying at Hogwarts this was my worst subject. Maybe it was because I didn’t pay attention or because I just did very well in the others but here on HIH, I’m actually doing ok. The subjects in 101 are a long time ago so I don’t have much of a problem with them. And first year I was probably still mildly interested in working. We will see how that goes on. I have a bad feeling though…

I finished with 90% OUTSTANDING.

POTIONS 101

How many of you were hoping for Professor Snape? Hands up! Well the way it is done I have to say is fairly accurate to the way he used to teach.
Yes, it is hard. Yes, you have to concentrate and if you EVER think that you can just do it half heartedly then my dears you will be greatly mistaken.
Everyone thought that I would be brilliant in Potions. I wasn’t, not even at Hogwarts. It is why Cedric Diggory started helping me in the first place.

I did finish with 89% EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS. But it took a lot of work.

TRANSFIGURATION 101

Ok so, actually this is also one people always expect me to have done well in. Unfortunately, the problem I have is not so much in obtaining a good grade it is the explanation of why and how something changes into something else. Honestly, it is quite boring when you know you can do something but are not allowed to do it or have to wait for others to learn. In real life I got through this almost as quickly as in HIH. It's just I had Professor McGonagall to give me extra work.

Year one is objects to objects so if you can do more than that, brush up on your biology. You will need it.

I finished with 88% EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS.
