Astronomy & Charms

Chapter 2
ASTRONOMY 101

I started off thinking that this would be easy, I naïve walk in the park, so to speak, but it wasn’t. In fact, it was so very far from that. I haven’t done “proper maths” and astronomy since I was at Hogwarts and I can say that it was taking to say the least. I don’t have access to my old telescope, not that you need one, but Professor Robert Plumb was the most encouraging person and when I explained I was having a few problems he showed me a Muggle site that helps with learning maths and other subjects. I found it most interesting.

By far the most interesting thing was to stargaze myself. I had forgotten what it could be like to look up into the night sky and spot a variety of stars, planets and other celestial bodies. I can tell you so much about them and I will tell you more and more as my grades progress.

I finished with 80% EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS. I’m so thankful for the extra advice.

CHARMS 101

I was, unlike many students not looking forward to partake in a Charms lesson. Why do it? Well because I had to learn and I couldn’t pass it up. I continued to get high-ish grades but to be honest the course never excited me.

I finished with 91% OUTSTANDING.
