Bowtruckles
The bowtruckles are immensely difficult tree keepers to detect. They can be found in western England, southern Germany, and in some Scandinavian forests. A Bowtruckle serves as the guardian of its tree, which is usually one whose wood serves to make magic wands. Branch-shaped fingers help rip an enemy's eyes out. It is usually a peaceful creature, but they become violent if someone threatens their tree, or even himself. To be able to cut a tree with a Bowtruckle, you´ll have to distract it by offering it piglets. They´re experts at opening locks. Bowtruckles are small: their maximum height is 20 cm, maybe less. They´re made of bark and they have 2 chest-nut colored eyes. They eat insects, and they are very pacific.
