The trick
Chapter 1
Good morning, Good afternoon, Good evening. Wherever you are, whatever you are doing this Hallows Eve. I just wanted to write a short book about a discussion that I was having with some people in the Great Hall.
I wanted to share with you all the tradition that we have in the Snape-Weasley household on Hallows Eve. We get dressed up we dress as our boggart. i.e. the thing that scares us the most. We have 1 rule and that is that you cannot dress the same as last year’s boggart. Basically, it is something to try and eliminate fears. This year I will be a clown (see profile). My friend also said we should try a muggle restaurant called McDonnalds but I’m not sure where it is. More news on that later…
Charlie is going to be a redcap these are small creatures that are drawn to places in which blood has been shed. They stand around 3 to 4 foot high and carry any bludgeoning weapon. Personally, I wouldn’t say they were his Boggart but they represent the bloody death that he hates the idea of.
This year we are not with Sevie but Bertie is deciding between being a stone angel or being pulled away from us. (I think he wants you to post answers).
I’m glad not everyone does it although I have seen many Voldemorts over the years. Trust me it really works and I hope you can all get something out of it.
Happy Halloween.
