Chapter 2
“I am, but I’ve been on a bit of a journey and need to rest for a bit, how’s school?”
“It’s good” I could sense a BUT coming, there always seems to be a BUT.
“but everyone says bad things about YOUR father AND Uncle Severus AND Scorpius AND Albus.”
She was taking it badly. She knew what my father was like. She knew that he was a bad person.
“Sevie, you knew it would be like this. Knowing people for who they truly are that’s what matters, and loving them regardless.” She sat on the bed for a while thinking this over.
"Even a dark and terrible wizard?" she asked
I could hear myself in her voice and smiled "yes, I saw it as my duty." I was the only one left that would love him the way he deserved to be loved. The way he needed to be loved. He was still my dad."
After a while I went home. It could have all been so different.
