Albus frowned and stared at the dark ground, the roar of all the other wizards at the platform drowning his head.

Harry sighed and smiled encouragingly at his son. "You know we can't go with you, Albus.." He placed a hand on his shoulder. "You'll have an amazing time." His mother Ginny added while playing with Lily's hair. Lily was still put out because she was too young to board the train with her brothers. She pouted and crossed her arms. "You're lucky!" She said. Albus shrugged. Harry and Ginny hugged Albus and his brother and they two boys made their way towards the train. James was so enthusiastic, his eyes were glowing. "Bye mom! Bye dad!" He said. "We'll miss you two. Look after one another." Their father said. Ginny's eyes were watery and she waved them off as they boarded the train. "Oh, Harry. I can't believe it." She said softly. Lily continued to pout. "Oh, Blah, i can't believe their luck!" Harry looked at her and chuckled. He kissed his wife and they took their daughter's hands-Harry her left, Ginny her right- ad left the station.

Inside the train cabin the two brothers sat opposite of each other. James snacked happily on his chocolate frogs while Albus continued to stare outside the car window. James quickly looked up, noting Albus's quietness. "It's going to be splendid, Sev! I'll be in Gryffindor and you'll be in Slytherin." He grinned. Albus looked away from the window and frowned. "Don't call me Sev.." He said gloomily. "And we'll both be in Gryffindor." He added. James shrugged his shoulders and bit off a chocolate frog leg. *crunch* Albus smiled a little for his brother and grabbed at one of Jame's candies. "Hey!" James said laughing. He and Albus both tugged on the candy packaging laughing. Soon the sliding door of the train opened and a tall boy with pale blond hair slicked to his forehead stood in the cabin grinning at them. "Oh hey, Scorpius!" James said. Scorpius smiled and with Albus not watching, his little brother snatched the box of Bertie's Jelly Beans In All Flavors and tossed it at Scorpius. He caught it smoothly in a swoop of his pale hand. "Hey!" Albus complained. James just grinned at him as he high fived Scorpius. "Nice one." Scorpius spoke in his famous Malfoy "posh" sounding tone. "I know." James smiled.
