SPEW
S.P.E.W. or the Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare is a group created by Elizabeth Black. It is a place to protest the unfair treatment of house-elves and discuss different ideas about elfish freedom. It is a great place to meet new people and make a difference.
In an interview with Alexandria Thistle, Elizabeth gave reasons for why you should join S.P.E.W. Here is what she said:
“I think it is a great opportunity for people to gain many things. For one, the ability to help others, and work towards a goal. It will help people work as a team, as well as be active and social in their community (HiH, or later in life!). And of course, there is that added bonus of helping House Elves (lol!)!”
So if you want to make a difference in the Wizarding Community, join S.P.E.W. today.
