Lesson Four: Transformation Theory Study Guide
Chapter 5
Transformation works by changing the molecules in the item. The item lets go of the particles in the air & alters it to make the transformation. There are two types of spells; static & dynamic spells. Most transfiguration spells are from Latin origins & all transfiguration spells are static spells.
Transfiguration spells will need determination. When concentrating, create a mental picture of the object changing with features of the finished item. Your object could be only half completed if your mind drifts away in the process. In transfiguration, basic taps & jabs are the usual motions. With determination, the Smoke to Dagger transformation can be cast onto steam. The substances are different, but are almost the same so the spell will work. If you can mentally picture the object, you can conjure the spell.
Fun Facts
⊱Items will avoid change, except if there is external power such as magic.
⊱ If you wish to change more than a color or pattern, you will need lots of concentration.
⊱ Creatures have a determination to exist in their original form since they have awareness.
⊱ The larger & more awareness the target gets, the harder it is to defeat the willpower in the target.
