Gamp's Law are powerless when doing transfiguration magic, such as conjuring. The exceptions to Gamp's Law are food, magical energy, love, life, & knowledge.

Eating conjured food is risky because recreating items are not long-lasting. If you ate a conjured item, any body part that the item was linked to will vanish, such as an organ. Magical energy can't exist but yet, it also can. It is unattainable to transfigure a phoenix that their teardrops hold the power to heal wounds. Love is not a physical thing'; it is a feeling. One of the many love potions is called Amortentia. Those who were born from a love potion, are immune to the feeling of love. An example of this is Tom Riddle, where his father was under a love potion given by his mother. Life can't be created by magic itself. The soul can't be recreated to bring it to life once more. Plants that are conjured imitate the characteristics of life. You can't create knowledge that you do not already have. You can't conjure a skill, but you can conjure a book that will teach you how to acquire that skill. If you were to look in a pensieve & see a person reading a book, you would have to read the book over their shoulders in order to gain the knowledge.
