When glass is in small shards, it becomes a type of sand. This spell is mostly used as a shield during combat. For example, the late Albus Dumbledore used this transformation spell to protect Harry Potter & himself from Voldemort at the Ministry of Magic.

Incantation: Contrita Specularma (CON-tree-ta spek-u-LARH-mah)

Fun Facts
⊱ Some suggests that this spell is a transformation, while others believe the glass shatters.
⊱ In Professor Penrose's Auror Training, a duel was won for resourceful use of the spell.
⊱ The Reductor Curse is good for protecting others in combat, but needs a stronger amount of willpower.
⊱ A thing that can go wrong is that the spell is only half done; the glass is shattered but cannot be described as sand.
