Chapter 1
Louisa Diggory walked into her bedroom in Knockturn Alley, was this real? could she physically touch the man that she had lost over 25 years ago?
She sat on her bed turning over a copy of “The Tales of Beedle the Bard” in her hands, uselessly. There were two situations that would come from this. Either they would change time and Cedric would die meaning that the current Cedric would live or she would have to live with this Cedric, in this world. Whichever way she felt as though she had to tell him the truth.
LOUISA: Would you say we are happy? (it was rhetorical in no way did she deem it a good question but it seemed the right one to ask.)
CEDRIC: I suppose, has something happened? You don’t seem yourself. Ever since you were in the hospital wing...
LOUISA: I’m more than myself.
CEDRIC: More? (a look of fear entered his eyes)
LOUISA: Yes. The thing is I’m not sure how to tell you this. How to tell you any of it. None of it makes sense. Not to me, and probably not to you I should imagine.
CEDRIC: I don’t understand. (He looked as though he had heard it all before.)
LOUISA: I’m not from here and you aren’t my Cedric. (his eyes were rolling as he searched for his shirt)
CEDRIC: What ARE you talking about? Have you performed a memory charm or something?
LOUISA: No. I’ve been dragged back to the past and spat out again in the wrong time with the wrong life.
CEDRIC: How is this wrong? We are chosen! (he gets into bed)
LOUISA: So, the “chosen one” in this world is the Dark Lord’s son-in-law?
CEDRIC: In this World? (he jostled his hair)
LOUISA: In MY world Scorpius Malfoy and a boy called Albus steal a time-turner and …
CEDRIC: that’s impossible! (he was angry)
LOUISA: Shh just listen. (she says impatiently and he stops suddenly) They steal it and go back in time to the Triwizard Tournament to try and save you.
CEDRIC: From what? I failed, and somehow you still wanted to go out with me.
LOUISA: Because I will always love you. Don’t you get it?
CEDRIC: I guess not. (He was trying to act uninterested by reading the daily prophet but her excitement was attracting his attention, it was out of the ordinary, irregular)
